I had terrible drainage in my backyard. Water would sit in low lying areas, creating lovely mud puddles for my dog to roll around in. Boone’s came and installed French drains, sloped my backyard to flow the water to them, and reinstalled sod.

Shoot the levels first. If the ground falls toward the house, regrading at fixes more than pipe does. If there is a low corner with nowhere to go, a French drain at to a real outfall, or a dry well where there is none.
