When Boone and Rhonda McDonald founded Boone’s Landscaping in 2014, they had one simple mission: treat every property with the same care and pride they’d give their own home. That commitment hasn’t changed — even as the company has grown to serve residential and commercial clients across North Houston.
With decades of combined experience in landscaping, construction, and project management, Boone and Rhonda bring hands-on expertise to every project. Our Story
Boone’s Landscaping started with a single truck, a small crew, and a big dream. In 2014, Boone McDonald left a career in construction to pursue his passion for outdoor spaces. With wife Rhonda handling the business side, they set out to build something different — a landscaping company that prioritized craftsmanship over cutting corners, and relationships over rushing to the next job.
The early years weren’t easy. Working 12-hour days, often seven days a week, Boone and Rhonda built their reputation one yard at a time. Word spread. Neighbors noticed the difference. Referrals started coming in. Before long, the single truck became a fleet, and the small crew became a team of skilled professionals.
Today, Boone’s Landscaping serves hundreds of residential and commercial clients across The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Tomball, Magnolia, and beyond. We’ve grown from basic lawn care to full-service landscaping — including custom landscape design, hardscaping, drainage solutions, irrigation systems, tree services, and water features.
But some things haven’t changed. Boone still personally oversees major projects. Rhonda still answers client calls. And every member of our team shares the same commitment that built this company: do it right, treat people well, and stand behind your work.
